Our Story
Our story begins with our founder and Managing Member, Tafari Harrison, who began his career as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) driver in New Jersey. Through that experience, he discovered a genuine passion for serving others and building meaningful connections with his passengers.
After relocating to Kennesaw, Georgia, Mr. Harrison went on to build a successful career in the banking industry, where he developed the corporate, operational, and leadership skills that would later shape his approach to transportation. But his passion for NEMT never left him. In 2012, he combined his business experience with his commitment to serving others and founded Syncere Transportation.
Over the next decade, the company grew throughout the metro Atlanta area, expanding both its fleet and the number of individuals and organizations it served. As that growth continued, Syncere Transportation evolved into Destination Trans LLC and established partnerships with Medicaid brokers to expand access to reliable, safe, and compassionate transportation.
Today, Destination Trans has proudly transported more than 10,000 Medicaid recipients to their destinations. While our company has grown, our commitment remains the same: providing dependable transportation while treating every passenger with the dignity, care, and respect they deserve.
